Red Egg Guild

Everyone is invited to join the Red Egg Guild this Lent for six Thursdays which began March 6th. An optional pot luck supper begins at 6:00 with egg decorating following, lasting until 9:00 pm. It is at David Gary's home (5016 6th Ave S, Birmingham, Alabama).

For tonight, March 27, David will provide a main dish of sausage and peppers. Please bring a side dish you’d like to share that doesn’t require an oven. We look forward to having you join us!

For Red Eggs 2024 there were 34 people who came together over six weeks to produce 502 eggs. Collectively, volunteers put in almost 300 hours to the project. We started this fun in the year 1999, so technically 2024 was the 25th year! The eggs created this year will be given away to friends at four different Episcopal parishes at their primary services of Easter.
