From the Organist & Choirmaster

For the past few weeks, I have been gearing up for the launch of our chorister program on April 2nd. It’s hard to believe that’s just a few days away!

This is such an amazing opportunity for youth to be involved in and I’m proud that Saint Andrew’s will begin to offer this ministry. I along with others have worked on cultivating a curriculum that will serve choristers well as they develop their musical abilities in the program. Simple things that make a lasting difference like proper posture, breathing, and how to healthily sing to liturgical specifics are things to look forward to. It’s one thing to know how to sing but another to know why we sing.

There is still time to register choristers, so please continue to spread the word, you can also register choristers after April 2nd, we’re always accepting new choristers!
