Red Door Arts Exhibit

ART RECEPTION SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3 AT 4:00 PM
For our Autumn Red Door Arts exhibit here at Saint Andrew’s, Tom Patchen and John Vintson’s art collection will be hanging in the Nave during November. We will also have guitar music by Carlos Pino and a reception so that people can move about with refreshments while looking at the art and listening to the music.

About the Art
John and Tom’s works began as a way to bring a small part of a place they loved into their home. They first visited the American southwest together in 2008 and were enchanted by the high desert climate, grand landscapes, and ancient cultures of the Four Corners region, especially northern New Mexico. The paintings and pottery they have collected reflect places they have visited or people they have met which made an impression on them. From liminal landscape paintings to delicate abstract works and intricate hand-coiled pottery, each piece was selected to reflect their love of the region and personal connections they have made.
