Estate Sale of Richard Thames

An estate sale of Richard Whatley Thames’ personal possessions will be conducted on Saturday, July 20 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at his home located at 165 Kiowa Street in Montevallo, AL.

Richard attended Saint Andrew’s for more than fifty years and was a member for more than forty years. He served the parish in many capacities, including subdeacon, vestry member, lector, and founder and chair of the Gifts Committee. Dr. Thames also donated the magnificent Christus Rex crucifix which adorns the chancel.

Proceeds from the sale will go to Saint Andrew’s, per Richard’s wishes and generous nature.
