Communion Across Difference Workshop
Members of the LGBTQ+ community and Allies are invited to us on Saturday, October 19, for a workshop on creating communion across difference, sponsored by the LGBTQ+ Ministries in the Diocese of Alabama. The workshop will be held from 10am-3pm and the $15 registration includes lunch.
The Rev. Kelli Joyce is a priest of the Diocese of Arizona, currently living and ministering in the Diocese of Tennessee. She received her MDiv from Yale Divinity School and an MA in Christian Theology from Durham University and is a candidate for the PhD in Theological Studies at Vanderbilt University. In addition to her studies in sacramental theology, she has previously served as co-chair of the Anti-Racism Committee of the Diocese of Arizona, as a member of the Episcopal Church’s second Task Force on Communion Across Difference, and as the instructor for Bexley Seabury Seminary’s course “Gender, Sexuality, and Queer Theologies.” She resides in Nashville with her wife, Bailey, who is a Presbyterian minister, and with their dog, Amos.
