ALABAMA ARISE 2024 ANNUAL MEETING

If you are unable to attend the Arise Annual Meeting in person in Montgomery, please attend via Zoom. Register according to the instructions below and the Zoom link will be emailed to you. You will be able to VOTE during the Zoom session.

St. Andrew’s is a member group of Alabama Arise. The annual meeting is set for Saturday, September 28, 2024, and will be a hybrid event. The meeting will be held in person at the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Annex located at 115 Coosa Street in Montgomery from 10 am to 1 pm. To attend in personally or online, go to alarise.org/annualmeeting2024 to register. Lunch will be provided.

As a member group of Alabama Arise, St. Andrew’s can designate six voting representatives to vote on priority issues for Arise in 2025. If you are interested in participating either in person or virtually, please let me know. If you are an individual member of Arise, you cannot vote as an individual and as a group member. I must give Arise the names of our six voting representatives by September 20, 2024.

I encourage all St. Andrew’s members to become involved individually with Alabama Arise and learn more about the important advocacy work they do to educate citizens in Alabama about legislation that impacts our health and well being especially for lower income populations in the state.
